RNC threatens legal action against New Jersey officials over noncitizens on voter rolls: 'On notice'

Of those, 91 registrations were linked to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC), according to the committee.

Another approximately 1,450 registrations were changed to rejected status pending further review by county election officials.

Sherrill said county officials had been directed to resolve remaining cases before the November election.

The governor's office has said its investigation into the MVC error remains ongoing.

The RNC, The New Jersey Secretary of State's office and Sherill's office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
