Effective December 20, 2025, the service will operate weekly on Saturdays, linking the desert oasis with one of the premier hub airports on the East Coast and thereby enabling streamlined onward access to a wide array of domestic and transcontinental markets. This addition arrives against a backdrop of surging passenger volumes at PSP, further solidifying the airport’s emerging prominence as a focal point for both leisure and corporate itinerants.
The new route is set to begin on December 20, 2025, offering weekly flights every Saturday through April 18, 2026. American Airlines will deploy its Boeing 737-800 aircraft for this service, accommodating 172 passengers per flight. This schedule is designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers seeking a seamless connection between the West and East Coasts.
